Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Red Thread, Orlando is responsible for Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Furniture, Technology and Audio Visual Operations. He is a member of the Regional Executive Committee and plays a lead role in setting and executing the strategy for the corporation. Orlando has led a number of strategic acquisitions to expand Red Thread into new markets. In addition to his role at Red Thread, Orlando serves as a director of Blueshare, an industry association focused on establishing strategic alliances with suppliers to leverage the buying power of Steelcase dealers throughout the country.
Previously, Orlando was Chief Financial Officer at Charrette Corporation, the world’s leading supplier of imaging equipment and supplies for design professionals. He held a variety of management positions during his 17-year tenure at Charrette, helping to guide the company through a period of rapid growth and change. In particular, he was instrumental in completing a leveraged buyout at Charrette and later selling the company.
Orlando completed his undergraduate degree at Boston College and his MBA at Bentley College. Orlando is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys boating and hiking with friends and family. Orlando, Deb, Adam and Tyler can be found on the waters surrounding Martha’s Vineyard in their free time.
Larry Levine, President of Red Thread, was named to this role in May 2011. As a member of the Executive Committee, he is focused on strategic direction and insuring the dealership delivers strong operating results and an exceptional customer experience. Larry directly oversees the regional furniture sales team. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with customers helping them achieve their business objectives through the creation of highly effective work environments. Larry has also led several initiatives developing strategic programs and e-business solutions to help customers efficiently plan, procure and manager their furniture assets.
Previously, Larry was Executive Vice President of AFD Contract Furniture, a Steelcase dealer in New York City. He joined AFD in 1980 as a salesperson and transitioned to sales management in 1985. Since 1990, Larry functioned in a general management capacity with primary focus on sales, marketing and operations.
Larry graduated from Union College in 1978 with a B.S. in Psychology. After graduating from Union, he attended Parsons School of Design. Raised in West Hartford, CT, Larry is married with two children and currently resides in Armonk, NY.
Executive Vice President, Integrated Interiors
Don has more than 30 years of industry experience in the office furniture industry. He has been instrumental in shaping the strategy of integrating furniture, architectural systems and audiovisual technology to help customers create high performance workplaces, one of Red Thread's key differentiators. His enthusiasm for the business along with his passion for understanding how the shift in alternative strategies affects the workplace has allowed him to bring value to Red Thread's customer base while helping to develop the future of Red Thread's salespeople.
Don most recently was promoted to Executive Vice President of the Integrated Interiors Group and will be responsible for the company's sales effort of our integrated interiors across New England and will sit on the Regional Executive Committee (REC) overseeing all company activities.
Don currently lives in Hingham, Massachusetts with his wife Kathy and daughter Kelly where he spends his spare time playing golf and following his daughter's performances in local community theatre.
In February 2012 Casey joined Red Thread as EVP of Customer Experience. Casey is responsible for the regional execution of the customer experience division including marketing, design, sales support, project management and the overall customer experience.
Prior to his current role, Casey worked at Steelcase Inc. and served as director of Channel Development, supporting ownership transitions across the Steelcase dealer network in North America. Other positions over the twenty-five years at Steelcase included New England area sales director, dealer business consultant, eastern division general manager for Brayton International and director of Dealer Alliances. Casey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and an MBA from Bowling Green State University.
