Red Thread is on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts OFF20 contract that is in effect until November 2011. This contract is available to any “eligible entity”, which includes all state departments, agencies, and schools; all county government departments, hospitals, and agencies; and all municipal offices, hospitals, and schools, as well as many non-profit and community care organizations (See Eligible Entity Criteria)

Environmentally Preferred Products – “EPPs”
The products on the state contract have all been tested and certified for SCS Indoor Air Quality, BIFMA-ANSI standards and/or C2C (Cradle to Cradle) certification. Red Thread can help you learn how any specific product might contribute points to LEED Certification.

List of Entities Eligible to use the Commonwealth State Contract (OFF 20 for furniture)
01. Cities, towns, districts, counties, and other political subdivisions;
02. Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches, including all Departments and elected offices therein;
03. Independent public authorities, commissions and quasi-public agencies;
04. Local public libraries, public school districts and charter schools;
05. Public hospitals owned by the Commonwealth;
06. Public institutions of higher education;
07. Public purchasing cooperatives;
08. Non-profit, UFR-certified organizations that are doing business with the Commonwealth;
09. Other states and territories with no prior approval by the State Purchasing Agent required; and
10. Other entities when designated in writing by the State Purchasing Agent.
