- Implement DEI employee opinion poll
- Company-wide training focused on inclusion in the workplace
- Town Hall discussions on DEI and leadership commitment to advancing it within the organization.
- Company-wide DEI focused training activities on topics such as understanding, spotting and overcoming unconscious bias.
- Support for community organizations in our markets, such as Loop Lab Boston, Women’s Day at the Travelers, and Maine Women’s Lobby.
- Train and develop our workforce on important skills, ensuring we maintain a positive workplace culture.
- Performed compensation audit across all functions to identify and remedy any areas of inequity.
Historic Ongoing Actions
- Actively track metrics on company diversity data and maintain Affirmative Action Plan.
- Actively seek diverse sources to utilize for talent acquisition needs.
- Ensure that all hiring managers have received training in interview and assessment training including EEO, harassment policies and complaint procedures.
- Review the qualifications of internal applicants to ensure that all employees are given full opportunities for transfers and promotions.
- Track and analyze applicant flow to ensure non-discrimination.
- Ensure that annual performance evaluations are measured on a non-discriminatory basis.
